LUXURY DINING

At St Johns luxury is focused on the bed and breakfast. Our breakfasts are very special and cooked to order by Chef / Proprietor Johann.

Johann home cures his own bacon (no watery offerings here) and makes his own sausages by hand using a recipe passed on by his German father (who before retiring was a Master Butcher in Germany and England).

St Johns meat is Packington free range pork bred in the open air in fields on the outskirts of Lichfield.

Preserves are all home-made at St Johns or locally sourced. Bread is baked less than 150 metres away by Hindleys who have been baking locally for over 100 years.

Breakfast is served in the dining room of historic St Johns House. This former billiards room still has the old billiard cue holder in the corner and also has an open Victorian fireplace for use in the cooler winter months.
