Is a wedding coordinator required?
You’re very welcome to hire a wedding planner if you’d like that extra level of support; many couples find it helpful for reducing stress and managing the finer details. That said, it’s certainly not essential at St John’s House.
When you book with us, you’ll be working closely with Dan and Danielle, who bring years of experience and a real passion for weddings. We offer the kind of hands-on guidance and coordination that many venues leave to external planners, from helping with timelines and supplier communication to overseeing the smooth running of your day itself.
So whether you’re organising everything yourselves or just need a bit of extra support, you won’t be on your own; we’re here every step of the way.
How can I pay for my event booking?
You can pay for your stay at St John’s House using cash, bank transfer (BACS), or most major debit cards (Visa Debit/Delta and Maestro/Switch). If you choose to pay for your event by credit card (Visa Credit/Mastercard), then you will incur a 2% card transaction fee. This applies to both guest room bookings and whole-house rentals.
Please note: to secure the date of your event, we will require a £500 deposit. Once the deposit has been received, payment plans will be made available to you.
